MAVERICK YACHT MANAGEMENT

Maverick Yacht Management is a Fort Lauderdale-based yacht management company founded in 2021 by two experienced marine professionals. Johann, one of the co-founders, spent four years as an engineer aboard 100-foot U.S. Coast Guard cutters before transitioning to eight years as a private yacht captain, piloting vessels up to 130 feet along the East Coast, through Mexico, and into the Caribbean. His co-founder Alex brings additional years of management-side experience to the business. Together they launched Maverick to fill a gap they saw consistently in South Florida: a trustworthy, comprehensive yacht management service for boat owners who want professional oversight without the overhead of a full-time crew. Services include full yacht management programs, scheduled maintenance and repair, boat detailing, bottom painting and antifouling, fuel and provisions delivery, hurricane planning, and vessel deliveries. Coverage extends from Fort Lauderdale and Miami through Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and the Florida Keys.
